The RubberBox RUB1605 is a compact three-phase power distribution unit designed to provide a controlled and well-protected step-down from a 32A 415V three-phase supply to a single 16A three-phase output. It offers a clean, reliable solution for supplying smaller three-phase equipment from a higher-rated source without introducing unnecessary complexity.

Power is taken into the unit via a 32A 3-phase plug, factory fitted to a 1.0 m 6 mm² 5-core HO7RNF cable, and delivered out through a 16A 3-phase coupler on a 1.0 m 2.5 mm² 5-core HO7RNF cable. This clear in-to-out arrangement makes the unit easy to integrate into temporary power systems, whether as part of a wider distribution setup or as a standalone step-down point.

The outgoing circuit is protected by a 16A 30 mA 4-pole RCBO, providing combined overload and earth-leakage protection across all phases and neutral. This ensures that any fault on the 16A output is safely isolated, while maintaining a straightforward, transparent protection scheme that’s easy to understand on site.

Housed in a durable inline enclosure, the RUB1605 is well suited to professional environments such as events, production, and temporary industrial installations, where dependable three-phase power needs to be distributed safely and efficiently from a 32A source.
