We’re back at Prolight and Sound! Our 2023 Spring update
2023 is already shaping up to be a very busy year for us here at Rubber Box – and we’re barely into the spring! Since there’s so much going on, we thought we’d take a moment to fill you in on some of the most important stuff; ranging from our latest scheduled event appearance, all the way up to new products and services. So then, let’s get you up to speed with what’s happening with us – and what it all means for you!
Rubber Box returns to Prolight and Sound
This year we’re back at Prolight and Sound: we’ll be on Stand E33, Hall 12, from the 25th to 28th April 2023.
We’re well-known faces at this Frankfurt-based industry event, having previously attended in 2019 and 2022 (we were forced to give 2020 a miss, for obvious reasons!). If you’ve never been before, it’s essentially an international trade show for event and media technology, allowing us to showcase our power distribution equipment to an international audience. And of course, we get to enjoy some lovely German hospitality in the process!
If you’re planning on attending yourself, make sure to stop by Stand E33 in Hall 12 – we’d love to see you!
New service: testing and certification
We’ve recently purchased a new test bench; all singing, all dancing, and already up and running. That means we’re now in a position to start offering a test and certification facility – you can send your unit back to us, and then we’ll test and certificate it for 12 months (for only a nominal charge). If we do find an issue with your unit, we can quote you for a repair. Don’t worry though – we’ll always make sure to get your go-ahead first, so you’ll always be able to make an informed decision!
Refreshes of our product lines
As you may or may not have seen already, we now have a new-sized box – the all-new 360, which can be put on a stand for added efficiency, convenience and safety. Another thing worth noting: we can now have the 270/270H boxes put on a stand if required as well.
What’s more, the labels on our standard cable lengths are now available in a variety of different colours – this applies to our cables in lengths of 5m, 10m, 15m, and 20m. New ID labels are also available for our rubber boxes, making it easier for you to identify which ones you have in stock.
Back to next-day delivery on most units
Like everyone else, a few years ago we had to adapt quickly to the sudden onset of the coronavirus pandemic, but we’re pleased to announce that we’re now getting back to somewhere near pre-Covid stock capacity, which allows us to go back to offering next-day delivery on most units.
We should probably say that lead times on bespoke units are still slightly longer than we normally aim for, but we’re doing everything we can to manufacture and deliver them as efficiently and effective as we can. If you are ever working with a particularly tight deadline, don’t hesitate to mention it to one of our team, and we’ll make sure to give you as much detail about current timescales, and when you can realistically expect your order to arrive.
